Extended Bio:

In addition to treating general Orthopaedic issues, Dr. Salassa specializes in hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery as well as operative and non-operative fracture management.  She joined Windward Orthopaedic Group in 2015.

 

Dr. Salassa completed her fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (Joint Replacement Surgery) and Orthopaedic Traumatology at Flinders Medical Centre and The Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia with prior Orthopaedic Surgery training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.  She received her M.D. at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, and her undergraduate degree in Physiologic Science at UCLA.
